Top News Desk: Today Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Khandker Golam Faruq said at the site of the Gulistan blast that left at least 17 killed and over 100 injured yesterday they did not get any evidence of explosive materials.
he said during his visit to Siddique Bazar area this morning , experts from different agencies including Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit, Criminal Investigation Department and Army worked there and said any evidence of explosives they did not find at the site.
Whether there was any septic tank or leakage in the basement as the explosion occurred there they will look into that said the commissioner.
Earlier, fire and police officials suspected that the explosion took place from accumulated gas.
