Top News Desk: On Thursday (October 13), the three-day Tirobhava Tithi Mohotsav of Tagore Narottam Das began amid an auspicious abode.
Like every year, devotees flocked to the traditional Gaurangbari temple of Rajshahi’s Godagari Upazila. Devotees from far and wide of the country came two days ago and made their own accommodations. Khetur Dham festival has gathered on both sides of the road beyond the designated place of Gorangbari.
It has been observed since morning that Sanatan religious people are bringing necessary equipment in bus-micro, vans from far away. All in all, the first day of the festival was quite crowded. However, there is a possibility of having some adverse effect on the festival due to the occasional cloudy sky.
Meanwhile, law and order forces are on high alert to ensure maximum security there. Their goal is to make successful the event.
According to devotees, Tagore Narottam Das is the epitome of loving devotion and non-violence. The three-day program begins, on the first day in the evening, with the auspicious abode. Today (October 14) the program will conclude with an eight-prohor-long Tarak Grakshmanam Sankirtan from Arunodaya and a two-hour Bhog Aarti and Mahanta Bidaya on Sunday, October 15.
