Results of 43rd BCS Written Examination Made Public

Top News Desk: In a significant announcement, the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has unveiled the outcomes of the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written examination, with a total of 9,841 candidates successfully passing this crucial phase.

The announcement of the results took place on Sunday, August 20, through the official BPSC website. As per the official notification, a substantial count of 9,841 candidates has been provisionally declared successful in the written assessment of the 43rd BCS examination conducted in the year 2020.

The journey leading to this point commenced with the 43rd BCS preliminary examination held on October 29, 2021, which was subsequently followed by the release of the preliminary results on January 20, 2022. Out of the multitude of participants, a notable 15,229 individuals emerged triumphant in this stage. The next phase, encompassing the written examination, began in July of that same year.

The forthcoming stages of the 43rd BCS process will see the appointment of a total of 1,814 officers across diverse cadres. Among this cohort, the administration cadre is set to welcome 300 entrants, while the police cadre will include 100 individuals. The foreign affairs cadre is poised to receive 25 appointees, the education cadre will incorporate 843 candidates, and the information cadre will feature 22 individuals. Furthermore, the audit cadre will accommodate 35 candidates, while the customs, tax, and cooperative cadres will each include 14, 19, and 19 successful individuals respectively.
