Top News Desk: In a significant development, the results of the SSC and equivalent examinations for the year 2023 were officially published on Friday, revealing that the overall pass rate stands at 80.39 percent, with an impressive 1 lakh 83 thousand 578 students achieving the coveted GPA 5.
Analyzing the results board-wise across the country, the Barisal Board emerges as the frontrunner with an outstanding pass rate of 90.18 percent, making it the top-performing board. On the other end of the spectrum, the Sylhet Board lags behind with a pass rate of 76.06 percent, reflecting the lowest performance among all the boards.

The regional distribution of pass rates for other boards is as follows: Rajshahi Board records a commendable 87.89 percent pass rate, followed by Jessore Board with 86.17 percent, and Mymensingh Board with 85.49 percent. The Comilla Board attained a pass rate of 78.42 percent, Chittagong Board 78.29 percent, Dhaka Board 77.55 percent, and Dinajpur Board 76.87 percent.

Moreover, students under the Madrasa Education Board achieved a pass rate of 74.70 percent, while those under the Technical Education Board showcased their prowess with an impressive 86.35 percent pass rate.
