Top News Desk: Today is December 19 (Monday), Bangla Blog Day. In 2009 for the first time, the day was celebrated. The first Bengali blogging on the internet started in 2005. Basically, this day is observed to get interested in blogging in Bangla.
Based on the opinion of bloggers (who write blogs), it was decided to observe ‘December 19’ as Bangla Blog Day at the initiative of the Bangla blog site Somewhere in the blog ‘Bandh Banggar Awaaz’.
The day has already begun to play a role in bridging the gap between diverse bloggers and the artisans behind blogging platforms and introducing them to the wider community beyond.
Blogs have a leading role in the cyberspace of Bangladesh. Its main objective is to ensure freedom of speech and create scope for public awareness.
