1. Press the Print Screen key on your keyboard to open the screen you wish to capture.
Before you can take a screenshot, you need to open the window or display you want to capture. This could be a website, a document, a game, or anything else you can see on your screen.
2. Press the Print Screen (PrtScn) button.
Once you have the window open, press the Print Screen key on your keyboard. This key is usually labeled PrtScn, but it may also have a unique icon. It’s usually located in the top row of your keyboard, either near the Function keys or at the very top.
3. Open an image editor.
Next, you’ll need to open an image editor such as Paint or Photoshop. On Windows 10, you can type ‘Paint’ in the search box at the bottom left of your screen and press Enter.
4. Paste the screenshot.
Once the image editor is open, press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot. You should see the image of your screen appear in the editor.
5. Save the screenshot.
Finally, save the screenshot by going to File > Save As. Choose a name and a file type (such as .jpg or .png) and click Save.
